France Promotes the Development of Electric Vehicle Industry

In 2024, the French government signed a strategic agreement with the French automotive industry.

The agreement clearly states that the French automotive industry will strive to triple annual sales of electric vehicles by 2027.

In addition, the agreement also emphasizes that by the end of 2027, 25,000 fast charging stations will be installed on major travel routes and large cities in France, and 400,000 charging stations will be installed by 2030.

In order to support the development of the electric vehicle industry, the French government has allocated 1.5 billion euros for it in 2024.

According to the plan of the Paris municipal government, 8,000 PCs charging stations will be built in the city by 2024, and 2,200 PCs charging stations have been built so far. Paris will also transform traditional gas stations to also have charging functions.
